No see the worst part is that if anyone in a group chat doesn’t have an iPhone, Apple sends these messages to everyone. I get spammed by my family groupchat because like one of my dad’s siblings and their spouse and kids don’t have iPhones. None of them even take part in the chat. We are all cursed for no reason. I have the woman who keeps starting these blocked and get everyone else’s responses, iMessage is such a garbage texting app

at least the latest android messages version receives these well.

it's Yet Another thing pushing for upgrading phones but at least in another ~5-7 years when the phones without this update become true e-waste everyone will have the same experience 😭
