Made in an hour. More of an ambience and vibe kind of thing, very simple composition. Just trying to capture the feeling of what September 14th 2024 means to me.

My entry for compost #5!

Composition time: 59 minutes, with some time to sample-hunt beforehand

I've been doing OHCs for a few weeks on my own and I've fallen in love with the concept. I was looking forward to the next compost to finally get a shot at participating! I've been in a creative block the past months, and going with the mindset of "whatever is completed in an hour, that's that", has been really freeing. It lets me try out a lot of different techniques and ideas, too, which has been super fun.

For this compo, my mind stuck to the word zombie. They may be plushes, but they're still fierce! No choice but to take out the heavy weaponry. I went with something quite dark and atmospheric.

I'm a beginner at producing in general and I appreciate comments and feedback if you have any. ✌️Looking forward to seeing what other folks will make today!
