this one is made using background-attachment: fixed - it keeps the gradient in the same place while you scroll down the page. and then there is a nice shadow and an overlay for the shine and a configured 'background-blend-mode' to make the shine look how it does. super cool

gradient

thanks for the description!

If you press ctrl+shift+c in chrome it'll open the dev tools with a cursor that lets you click on an element in your browser and see what the html and css for it looks like under the hood! you can even edit the html/css straight from dev tools and see what happens, it's a great way to learn! and if you want to learn a bit more about the basics, w3schools has some simple tutorials with live examples you can change :)

css:

aspect-ratio: 1 / 1; height: 100px; background: radial-gradient(closest-side at 45% 40%, white, 40%, red), repeating-linear-gradient(magenta, yellow, cyan, magenta 50vh) fixed; background-blend-mode: luminosity, normal; border-radius: 50%; box-shadow: 1.5px 5px 17px 0px #0249, -3px -5px 10px inset #0008; margin-bottom: 30px;
