Basically, with Unity, you have entities and you attach components to them. But with Godot, everything is a node, and nodes can have scripts. So to make a player, you make a KinematicBody node, and under that you put a CollisionShape node and assign a proper shape. Then add a Camera node as needed, utilizing the SpringArm node if you want third-person. And any visual parts will probably be a MeshInstance node.
There are some good tutorials by GDQuest, KidsCanCode, and a few others that show how to use it. Just kinda depends on what type of game you're going for.
But yeah, hope you enjoy the engine! It's a fun one, for sure.
