I'm going to Japan later this year and I'm extremely excited. It's also going to be strange to go because growing up I didn't get to travel much. Like going to New York back in my early 20s felt like a big shock after being in the midwest my entire life. This'll be my first actual trip outside of the US. Weird!

I got to go when I was much younger and it was a really fun time, looking forward to going again when I've got more of the language under my belt. Prepare for some wicked jet lag when you get there, though
