A fun thing about having an NSFW account that I really wasn't expecting is that the usernames I see in my notifications on this page are like at least 50% funnier than on my other page. Why are the horny accounts funnier.

well i joke but that is legit a part of it; sex is inherently pretty funny! and i think a lot of nsfw accounts like to lean into it.
I think another part of it is it can also help relieve the tension in a way, like "oh no people on the internet can see that I'm horny, what if they judge me or what if something weird or awkward happens or whatever? fuck it, I am naming myself 'the grinch's cum sock' to put people at ease", like telling a joke to break the ice kinda
