Also of course I'm procrastinating by posting about it instead of throwing my newly ultrahand crafted rat+trap combo away
oof be wary of glue traps, they can be extremely detrimental to wildlife, along with the agonizing and slow death they offer to whatever gets caught in them. There's a reason they've been banned in several stores and even counties.
Oh I had no idea about they being banned in places there and other countries. Yeah, the way they kill is not pretty, but I'm like... a failure of an adult dealing with this kind of thing, and my partner is even worse. At least I do put the trap inside a cardboard box and then the box inside a trash bag before throwing it away
I would love love LOVE to get a cat but I'm currently unemployed, and even then after get a new job I have to be sure that it pays enough to afford veterinary + vaccines + cat food
As a Brit, I have no idea how an outside kitchen works. But yeah, you're never not going to have mice if it's literally an outside kitchen.
In the house - poison bait works great in my experience as long as your kid is old enough to not eat blue grain.
Yeah, "outside kitchens" arent a thing here either, but it is like, our garage got a cool extra space under the roof with an extra sink, so I put our oven there and it turned out great.
Oh yeah, I have those blue sunflower seed baits, I have to stop being lazy and set them up
