Tried to play with keyboard + mouse at first and really disliked it, then I gave it a second chance with the gamepad and I'm really really enjoying it?!? Controls are a bit too sensitive and dept perception for boxes/enemies can be a bit weird, but damn, what a fun little game!
Also I was never a fan of the 3D "translation" from the original series to Adventure, and I think I may like the way thisgame adapted Sonic to 3D a bit more? There is lots of exploration in each level.
Oh, a fan game. Was wondering why I had never heard of it! Looks like something else to try once I get my new computer running.
I'm having a really good time so far! The controls are a bit wonky, I feel like Sonic accelerates way too fast and the moviment is digital input even when playing on a gamepad analog. Even then I got used a lot better with the gamepad, but it seems like folks online recomend keyboard and mouse
Does it support gamepad out of the box or do you need something like Joy2Key?
Just played again and I was spreading misinformation, this game DOES support analog input, it is just that it still feels really sensitive
