  • Mostly "he" but others are fine too

Last november my brother gave me as a bday gift and I played a bit, stopped playing at the middle of the pre-dungeon bit of the second boss.

I love and hate to continue an old abandoned save file, it is such a singular experience. It almost always goes from "I don't remember a single thing and I should start a new save file" to "hey I think I got the hang of it again"

Thoughts so far: looks good, plays good and sounds really good. Also there seems to be a stupid amount of polish. On one hand I miss the more "rough edges" feel of 2000's~2010's indie games, on other hand holy hell what a pretty game.

I'm the same way. If I've been away from a single player game for over 8 months and want to dive in again, more often then not, I'm starting over from the beginning cause I won't remember all of what's going on in the story.

I really enjoyed Death's Door. Fun game and I adored the soundtrack.

I usually just try to bite the bullet and continue the old save, it feels weird for 1 to 2 hours but then it all comes back, kinda like riding a bike.

That said, I did start a new file once with No Man's Sky after a big update, I wanted to get up to date with the newer stuff because I'm so behind, I have no idea about what I was doing or what are the items in my inventory, but also I do not want to start again
