  • Mostly "he" but others are fine too

A recruiter from my former company reached out to meon Linkedin last friday for a job position, and I found it weird that he never mentioned the fact that I used to worked there, despite it clearly being stated on my profile.

Then today I mentioned it, and he went "oh, the manager may want to know why you left the company", and I explained that I wasn't a good fit for the team (I do enjoy more fast paced and more costumer facing roles) and was fired for low performance, then he seemed to be ok with that and scheduled an interview with the manager? It seems to be a completely different team too.

I mean, being fired without notice sure sucked, but the benefits were good back then and the salary seems to be like double of what I made previously? I'm probably underskilled for this position, but eff me if I won't at least take a shot at it. What a weird situation.

Oh, that's nice to hear. I've talked to an ex coworker and he didn't even had idea the team I'm applying to existed, which is honestly great to hear that it probably is very unrelated to my previous one.

Let's hope something like that happens!
