Room 9/18 houses a hodge-podge device made of brass and glass, which in turn is pointed at a durable glass wall. On the other side of the wall are swirling shadows. When the device is turned on, it interprets the movements of the shadows, reading the thoughts of the beings or their owners, and translating that into Giant before spitting it out on ticker-tape. If a being were to stand in-front of it, their own shadow's thoughts of themselves might be heard. Hopefully their shadows have kind words to say about their owners.
Hidden in the ceiling next to the glass wall is a concealed panel that is ajar. It leads to a human-sized crawlspace created by the Obscure Eye ages ago.
