unless i pirate a show i likely can't:
- be sure the service i subbed to to watch it will still have it in the future
- be sure the service i watched it on won't replace it with a shitty AI "remaster" in the future
- watch it offline
- transform the video; eg adding sound normalization or custom subtitles, removing black bars to fill the screen, etc
- easily choose the resolution regardless of the device
- easily take screenshots
- easily record clips
- share it with family/friends
- stream it to family/friends
Somehow the dystopian future we got didn't even include "Share and enjoy" because sharing doesn't involve another purchase.
