ok listen i don't participate in sports culture at all so i am REFUSING to look anything up
but assuming this post is accurate (which i do) it sounds like she is A Cop with a do nothing job, in the same way there are athletes in the US that are nominally college students, but that's only so you don't have to pay them a normal salary

my fellow white queers and white progressives need to be putting in so much more work than they are to not be racist and defend systems of racism. this level of dismissal of credible allegations of racism and transphobia is something that shouldn't be normal but it is! and the only people who put in substantial work, as a lot of people have noticed, are not people who look like me! it's infuriating. white people don't usually know better actually! but we act like we do and have the final say on everything, for some reason.
being born white doesn't give people who look like me the powers of being the ya novel main characters of reality but a lot of us sure act like it.
