Perfectionism does not lead you to create perfect things. It's actually just a mental trap that leads you to create nothing, while hampering your ability to actually improve.
It's a lie sold to your brain by Big Perfect
In addition to this: I think perfectionism can be a result of being scared of criticism, scared of how others will see what you've made, and what they will think of you as a result. This can never lead to self-actualization and realizing yourself as fully as possible. It will cause you to be scared of that instead; to exist and to create not for yourself, not even for OTHERS but for imaginary others you have in your head.
