Out of the shimmering POOL wafts an incorporeal POST. It reads, "First snow of the season! Time to break out that hot chocolate!"As the post floats through the air toward you, it seems to gain substance. By the time it reaches you, it takes on the form and function of a table, with a mug of hot chocolate resting atop it. You take a cautious sip. Delicious.
You may have wondered why the Kingdom of Posting is named such...You know what? Maybe I can do this better in person.
A hidden PANEL opens in the wall, and a familiar face walks into the room.
"PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN!" you cry. You set the hot chocolate down to embrace them. It feels like months since you left Castle Posting. They hold you for a few precious moments and pat you gently on the back.
"I'm so proud of you, Bug. You've done wonderfully."
You both sit back on the sofa, pride reflecting in your PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN's eyes. "To keep things short, this is the true treasure of the Kingdom of Posting," they say. "The posts. For centuries we have kept them safe."
"I helped!" Eggbug says through the door, peeking one eye through the opening.
"The castle is just a decoy, to draw the attention of those who would wish to harm the posts. Eggbug and I have guarded this room for, oh, many, many years. Now we pass that honor on to you."
"You mean I'm going to become the Monarch of Posting?" You bounce up and down excitedly on the SOFA. It really is quite comfy.
"Not exactly. I suggest you take a look in that MIRROR."
