These are all my Bionicle characters and pieces from back in the day! Well, however many… uh… 14-15 (or 9 for the G2s) years ago.
I have all the golden armor from the Stars series because of a birthday party I had in which my dad got all the Stars sets for me and my friends (not bad as party favors! But, aside from that, uh, bad, lol (I loved Bionicle, though, and these were pretty much it at the time)) and had them give the armor pieces to me. Later I must’ve ended up getting another of the sets myself… Well, obviously I have a few more than just the one, since I have Tahu, Gresh, and Takanuva. But also I have Skrall, which I think is where I get the extra pommel piece for Takanuva’s gold shoulder armor.
Anyways these are the states they were in as we found them. Some, like Sahmad and his… dog… are largely unaltered (though he’s supposed to have kind of a carriage), while others like Small Kiina, Small Gelu, and Big Tahu are abominations! Fun!
I didn’t get very far into Hero Factory before realizing I didn’t like it, so those poor bastards are mostly just being used for parts.
I really wish I’d gotten into Bionicle sooner. I have some pieces of Gorast, and there’s a photo of me as a really little kid holding a Toa Inika Jaller canister (no fucken clue what happened to Jaller, Gorast is the oldest Bionicle set I have any trace left of), but I was just too young, honestly. Just baaarely missed it… I don’t get all “born in the wrong generation” very often, or like, at all, really, but for this, I’m kinda feeling it.
Listen I know I keep posting Sulir but I’m hesitant to draw/depict the others until I know how to actually build them! Especially their masks, I had to redesign Sulir’s mask like a thousand times (as you might be aware if you follow me lol)
