An adventure game with a branching narrative about kids discovering the secrets of their small town and the corporation that's been sinking its tendrils into it. I was reminded a bit of Jenny LeClue: Detectivú and Night in the Woods: both are also adventure games with dark small-town mysteries, the characters are rendered as cute animal people like in NitW, and there's even a storybook framing device with a distinct narrator character like in Jenny LeClue. I really enjoyed the game's writing, and combined with some fantastic audio work (both Matt Meyer's excellent soundtrack and a phenomenal performance from Kirsten Mize as the narrator), the story's emotional beats had me on the verge of tears multiple times.
