While working my way between the various quests last night I had this weird feeling all of sudden?
Like FATE was about to intervene? The next thing I know I'm being attacked by those weird fungus creatures, except these ones where different? They were purple? Kinda cute but they were still pretty vicious all the same.
I drew my bow and proceeded to fight them off one, two at time until suddenly they vanished? Okay, they didn't vanish but they did run away after a while which was weird?
Maybe it was FATE that I defeated them and proved myself a worthy archer once again!?
Not thinking much of it I pressed on exploring, running errands for some of the locals in the Bannock and surrounding area.
FATE again intervened several times. Most I won gain valuable experience and skill. Sadly though it was FATE that would cause me to lose a challenge too. I was deeply saddened by the lose of the unknown traveller I was trying to help but deeply humbled by the experience.
A lesson in humility as it were for such a young and yet still green adventurer.
