Sips drink and takes a moment to gather faerself. My investigation in the North Shroud was complete and while there, I found a smol clue that has lead me back to New Gridania. It was a smol button that was discovered on the poor lass.
I quickly made my way back to the Canopy to ask Miounne about it. Unfortunately, she didn't know anything and so i was sent in search of someone who might? I ran all over Gridania asking around with no luck, when i stumbled across a man looking rather down.
I figured at this point i had nothing to lose and started to talk to him. After introducing myself and getting to know him. I showed the button and asked if he knew anything about it or could help?
He started to sweat a lil and act nervous upon seeing it. Calm, calm. I said and maybe offered a hug. He begain to tell me the story behind the button and where i might be able to find the masked strangers.
I listend taking notes as fast as i could. It turns out he was a uh...um... well... he was a... Slight cough. He was a man servent for a rather well wealthy woman by the name of Lady Amandine. Who had appearently suffured an ailment some time ago and withdrew from the world.
I couldn't help crying a lil while hearing the story. So, sad. Sniffles a lil. He pressed on and i scribbled my notes. takes another sip of faer drink.
The masked men or stangers at some point begain to visit Lady Amandine and promised they could cure her, while restoring her former self. This is where things start to get a lil weird and the former servent had to terminate his services.
I promised him that i would look into it further and made my way to Haukke Manor. A rather creepy but neat place surrounded by those neat lil flying eyeball creatures. Need to go back there and research them sometime. Focus Ahsie.
I gained entry to the manor and its a shame it was in such a state. Would look really cute once fixed up and has a fresh coat of color on that wall. Giggles.
I started looking around with the aid of some companions from the Scions. I serached room by room and gosh is this place huge! Lots of locked rooms and creautres, had to find a number or rather tiny keys to gain entry to some. My companions and I eventually found ourselves in the bed chamber of Lady Amandine.
She had changed a fair bit from what was initally described by the servant. The masked strangers had corrupted her and so battle commenced. Picks some goo out of faer ear and brushes some plaster off faer shoulder.
Once the dust of battle had settled, I made my way back to the servent to fill him in and and that his former employer is now at peace. I offered another hug and bid fairwell before making my way back to Ul'dah and Minfilia to report in. My investigation having somewhat ended.
