Somewhere, in another shard, the Fae King Titania - Feo Ul, to use the more common name - reminisced on one of their many branches they'd met over the centuries. Shura, she called herself, a strange name for a Draph woman. But she was one of their favorites by far on account of their surprisingly brute strength for such a small woman, and lamented not getting to spend more time with them...
And then Feo Ul stumbled their way into a genius idea.
A few careful applications of fae magick later, a hapless leafman was freed from their grassy state and turned into a perfect replica of Shura herself, in looks, personality...and a dose of absolute obedience as well.
She was Feo Ul's personal Knight of the Fae, charged with unflinchingly defending Lyhe Ghiah until the bitter end of Titania's reign.
...Hopefully the real Shura didn't mind the facsimile.
However, after some amount of time passed, Feo Ul became painfully aware of something about her new bodyguard - while she was dutiful, loyal, and strong, she seemed...rather lonely, confined to the front gates of Lyhe Ghiah all by herself.
Nothing a little fae magick couldn't fix, though.
Feo Ul remembered a rather pink companion who always traveled with Shura...her name was Daisy Ordarian, if their memory was correct. And then there was the Viis who had pledged fealty to King Titania so long ago after they took the throne - Flidais Oakclamber.
Yes, the fairy king thought. The perfect duo to accompany her trusted branch. Two warriors full of love for the world and for Shura - and most importantly, love for Il Mheg.
Two more previously-unfortunate leafmen were given the same lovely treatment as the Shura facsimile before. Having been turned into perfect copies of Daisy and Flidais thanks to Feo Ul's magicks, they were assigned to guard the gates of Lyhe Ghiah like Shura before them.
And the duplicate Shura now seemed very pleased to have her loves with her.
