honestly i was kinda stuck in mental comparison hell when i made it because, like, the source material is so fucking good??? how could i ever beat that, right? but then someone pointed out that i was having a "wow, two cakes!! :D" dilemma and that helped a lot
oh, you can't see much evidence of it in this shot, but the character on the left is ffxiv's equivalent of a catgirl! the lion tail is one of the stock character options for 'em.
