I think it's funny how people talk about entire species of pokemon simultaneously as if they are species and as if they are individual characters. you don't say "pikachus tend to do X", no you say Pikachu does that. of course it does. you say "did you know Charizard cannot learn fly" you say "however, Flarion is the only fire-type pokemon who cannot learn solar beam." so rarely is "a flarion" said. Because it's not "a flarion" apparently. it's flarion. this isn't a species this is a character. and yet this character is instanced over and over..... it's so strange.....

I never played much pokemon so I just have the way people talk about it to go on, just an interesting pattern I've noticed
