bit of blogging about neat media i've consumed lately, also sharing silly art and tasty food pics
free the red car! also, pretend these are cars
(this is almost certainly a catastrophe on a phone, sorry)
i had a physical version of this game, pretty fun
and, unlike this version, not utterly criminal
the rightmost column seems to be cut off on mobile
i was able to solve it on desktop after moving things back and forth far too many times
ah dang, the whole thing doesn't fit on the screen on mobile
it works fine in landscape, just takes a lot of scrolling up and down
i actually beat it on my phone somehow. the blocks don't display where they should, and the right side of the board is cut off, but i clicked some arrows and it told me i won. WOW!
phone completion gang lol, requesting the desktop site on my phone let me see the whole board at once instead of having to scroll
the amount of time it took to complete made me feel very unintelligent though
Possible on phone if you request the desktop version of the site, but good lord this is devious.
I beat it at the cost of getting distracted and forgetting what i was doing
I hated this minigame as a kid and now I adore it, is this video game beer?????
YES. victory is sweet, and this is amazing. Great work!😁
that was ungodly difficult but i got it!! thank u
they call it “rush hour” cuz it took me an actual hour to solve
i feel like your crimes should be a part of some kind of psychology study. "we randomly put a logic puzzle in someone's feed and observed what happened" this is like the base one and then that chaos lights out is the "now we've gone hogwild with the rules, lets see what happens."
there! we finally got it. only about 30 minutes of active time but the first 20 or so were just getting warmed up and struggling, it was only the last 10 that we were able to properly reason about the solution.
it's been too long since we've done these. we know for sure that we have done this specific, exact layout about three separate times in our life, where "separate" is defined as far enough apart that we've entirely forgotten the specifics and only remember our general strategies for this kind of puzzle. that's a thing we have done ever since we were kids, it's not really solved until we can rediscover the solution easily from scratch. until that point we still have more to learn from it. we guess with rush hour puzzles, we're still not at that point.
not a catastrophe on a phone! i had to turn it sideways and lock it that way, but i was able to beat the game with a little bit of scrolling. very satisfying
This is completely unreal. I beat it but it took like twenty+ minutes. Utterly astonishing CSS work
I always get bored of these kinds of puzzles before I get to difficult ones so this was surprisingly difficult! Was starting to wonder if it had a solution at all. Really enjoyed it.
i did it on the phone! just needed to decrease my page font size to see the whole thing. beat it in about 5 mins/a lot of moves. as a kid one of my favourite things in the SNES game lufia 2 was being able to do a hidden puzzle like this for a bunch of treasure chests and feeling accomplished, really threw me back. amazing in css!
I won! took me ~10 minutes, so satisfying
I took me my 5th time seeing this on the timeline to be able to complete it but I finally did
I had to come back to this a day later, but I managed to get it :D
I don't know if I really had a solid approach, other than figuring out where a couple pieces had to end up, and sort of shaking everything until they got there.
This was super rewarding, thank you :D
It took me a while, but I did it! This was neat. Thanks!
