It was basically what I've been saying for a really long time. Even if the original creators are fuckin freaks, they don't deserve to have their game stolen from them by the sleaziest ghouls in Estonia. Turns out that's basically what happened.

That being said, Kurvitz absolutely spits the exact same oblivious nonsense that every "materialism is the only axis for my relation to the world" kind of communist says but usually grow out of. He seems to have such blinders on, tunnelling his vision onto the goal of taking down rich capitalists at the expense of recognizing that he is doing harm in the here and now. He forgets being a communist doesn’t automatically mean you’re a good person.

Disco Elysium is my favourite game of all time and none of this changes that (because consumption doesn't equate to morals, you dorks) but more than one bad thing can be true. The creators might have caught the investors screwing them out of the company they started while at the same time the investors used the creators obvious shit behavior as an excuse to push them out. If their abusive behaviour benefitted the investors profits, they would absolutely keep them on.

Disco fans should be the first group to understand that the world doesn't work with bad guys and good guys and unfortunately, the scale tips towards bad more often than not.
