I recently got into running again, and was having a pretty good tie, but my shin keeps acting up if I get into a running speed. It sucks! I really hate not being able to push my body as much as I know I can, but I don't want to make whatever is up with my shin worse.

They recommend cutting back on high impact exercises (e.g. running) and taking breaks to let shin splits heal, but those exercises don't feel nearly as satisfying. I was planning on working out today but my shin bothers me a little now when I'm just sitting here so maybe I'll just take the day off. Bummer. Bodies suck
