Thinking on its, it's kind of weird/funny that I placed Tekken 7 on my top games list. I did not put nearly the time into it that I had into other fighters like Super SF4, but something about T7 just really clicked with me and made me enjoy it. It felt fun learning that game. I really need to pick it up again

the 2019 Samurai Shodown is another fighter that I really enjoyed in a similar way. Honestly I would have kept playing it if the online wasn't so awful at the time that I stopped, dunno if it's any better now

They back ported rollback to SamSho 2019 iirc

I haven't heard any complaints about it which is probably the most positive thing I can say about an SNK game not ported by Code Mystics.

I remember my issue with SamSho was more with the matchmaking/lobbies, I hope that was fixed too

I am not getting my hopes up on that part, I only expect to have a usable p2p connection. I bought ALL the dlc for that game, so I liked it plenty but matchmaking and lobbies were dire.
