Alright, I finished FF7R. It's good as hell. Solid 9/10. As someone who grew up on and loved FF7 I loved the game, thought it hit all of the right notes, and the differences made it stand on its own better, even if I didn't like how certain parts were adapted vs. the original
The padding does get annoying but the game feels good enough to play that I can forgive it. There is so much padding though. Like the reason I kept making posts about it is because the game keeps getting padded out in really obvious ways, it's constant
I'm glad I beat it because now I'm even more excited for Rebirth and very interested to see where the story goes. Maybe I'll buy the Yuffie DLC
