The combat is easily one of the worst parts of FF15. It is very possible that I'm doing it wrong but on average I end up using like 5-10 hi potions and/or hi elixirs in a fight and that cannot possibly be how it's supposed to go. It's honestly kind of dog shit. Enemies have felt bizarrely overtuned all game.
This has all come to a head in the final chapter, where the game throws you into a gauntlet of obnoxiously strong bosses who all deplete 90% of my HP bar if they hit me once. Now I'm trying to backtrack to the last itme shop I remember seeing so I can buy more potions and elixirs. I bought like 35 hi potions and thought that'd be enough to get to the end. I guess I'm an idiot!
