I saw a post on here titled "is Outrage all that we have left?" talking about all of the people on social media apparently in histrionics over Dragon's Dogma 2, while the game itself is fine, and it reminded me of how whenever I go onto a game's subreddit it will be filled with pissed off people who are convinced that the game is dying. Meanwhile I'll be having a fun time playing said game.

in reply to @Crungo's post:

yeah apart from some crashes at the beginning that i fixed by updating drivers i haven't had any problems with it and have been having a good time. i'm not entirely sure what the discussion around it even is at the moment

before i tuned it out i did see a lot of people upset about the lack of fast travel, or more accurately the lack of fast travel that functions in the broad way where you can zip around the map by clicking an icon, and it just made me think how tiresome these kinds of discussions are to me where people perceive Quality of Life Features to be this sort of set in stone checklist that should apply broadly to every game instead of looking at what the intentions of the design are
