I'm sorry but the reveal in this week's chapter that Main Villain 1 (Shigaraki)'s tragic backstory, including the harsh treatment from his abusive father, was all contrived and planned by the machinations of Main Villain 2 (All For One) is so laughably dumb.
Horikoshi has obviously always used American comics for inspiration, and I have to hand it to him because a plot twist this stupid is something you'd find in a particularly bad run of X-Men or Spider-Man
