explode

anyways if you didn't guess from the prior posts, I'm kinda fed up with this place and have been for a while lmao

I'm not leaving, but it's always nice to be aware of my presence on other sites regardless, as well as my discord chat full of cool and attractive furries and tech nerds

I would like to see Cohost succeed, but it seems like the admins are more interested in imposing how they think the site should work, rather than listening to anyone's feedback about it, and yea, that financial report was not promising either

in reply to @CyanSorcery's post:

I'm holding out some hope that them broaching the topic of walking back some of their foundational "promises" means that they'd eventually be willing to implement some of these changes...

Though it feels like features take forever for them to implement stuff if because staff is so small. Which means if their dev priorities are off in any way it can take too long to course-correct.

Eh, I've seen them about-face on stuff when the response to it has been cohesive enough. My impression of the admins is basically they can't tell what is an actual legitimate criticism and what is just a case of "can't please everyone."

I wouldn't count on change happening immediately but I can see a scenario where they make compromises.
