Excuse him for being nervous, it's his first year with full summer plumage since his transition.

Do you think transmasc avians start growing bright colourful feathers when they go on hrt?
Seems like it makes sense to me, and i bet it would make for great gender euphoria to finally get your first bright blue feather after growing up dusky brown.
How much sexual dimorphism can you overcome later in life?

...Well, there's always dye if that fails...

A bit more fun with tan pieces, this time including some medium nougat and light azure!
Even gave him a big snuggly scarf :>

Can't wait to pick up the new creator giraffe kit, full of so many good tan and nougat and dark orange bits~

truly! it's one of the more obvious examples of sexual dimorphism in the animal kingdom but i think this might be my first time seeing it in a trans context but it's SUCH a good visual, little pinfeathers emerging with every molt and blossoming more and more into the wearer's true colors 💛🧡💙

it's possible for chickens to suddenly masculinize out of nowhere, without any external factors. and when they do, they start crowing, and it's common for them to also grow spurs and rooster feathers! so yeah, totally plausible!
