I think an important change that should be made to power scaling discourse is rating how dirty someone would do their opponent if they beat them. I propose these scales:
• beats them respectfully, both guys have mutual respect for one another
• beats them respectfully, but the other guy does not respect the winner. The winner has a sort of moral high ground that may be related to the reason they were fighting to begin with.
• beats them disrespectfully, both guys hate each other and are out for blood. Nasty ass fight.
• Just does them completely dirty. Stunting on them, doing Bugs Bunny type shit, generally just mopping the floor with a guy who can't really fight back.
• beats them so bad they see God. Self explanatory.
• beats them so bad they see someone else's God. If a Presbyterian got beat so bad he saw the Buddha I feel like that would fuck him up pretty bad.
• beats them so bad they ascend to a higher state of being. This is different from killing a guy. This is like hitting a guy so hard he achieves nirvana.
