"Well now," said an obnoxiously high-pitched voice. "You seem to be in a bind!"

That was an understatement, and judging by the giggle that followed, it was also a joke.
The 'bind' was more of an entrapment, as I was stuck in a spiderweb of wires. Old Headphone wires, Extension cords, Telephone poles, and even Christmas lights made up this infinite web of coils. The spinner of said web was crawling on all of its eight legs toward me.

"Kobb's the name, and being the God of Tangles is my game! Now, how in this tight-knit world did you fall into my web?"

A cute name for an objectively cute God. It looked like a spider, no bigger than a Tarantula, but it was made up entirely of rope and string like a knitted project, with beads making up eyes for the little guy. I suppose knots in arts can be considered a tangle too. I told the tale of my plight to Kobb, who listened, while crawling onto my head. I wasn't the biggest fan of spiders, but being stuck in a dimension of wiring helped me relax. Somehow.

"Ahh, I see! So you were looking to have a weekend to yourself, until you got caught up in errands after doing your best friend a favor..." The ropey creature of a forgotten lore crawled onto my chest to look me in the eyes. "...And in the process of trying to untangle some Holiday lights, you ended up tumbling into my Domain! Talk about a tight knot!"

The wrappings of wire loosened, and I felt myself sliding backwards amongst the vein of this Universal web. "Very well, I shall return you from whence you came!" With a hop, Kobb landed and watched me be swept away by the current of wire. "Should you need to untangle something, just send me a Prayer, okay?" Soon my vision was covered in Christmas lights. It took a good struggle, but I broke free from that pastel-colored nightmare.

Back in my friend's basement, I was once again on my knees before the mess of Christmas lights he wanted me to help get ready for the holidays. The only difference now was that the wires were no longer a tangled mess; they were splayed out on the floor in a messy, but untangled mess. Thank Kobb that he was a merciful God. Let's hope there wasn't a 'god of unkept items'.
