Today I woke up and Battle! (Origin Palkia/Dialga) was randomly stuck in my head
Y'know at the time I thought it silly but funny that PLA's OST was mostly classical instruments to that point and then the Origin battle was a fucking rave.
But now two years on, in retrospect I think it was a fantastic decision 'cus it really set the battle apart from the rest of the game at that point!
Giratina also had this quality but I think anything but doing a modern take on the Platinum theme, even if it is a game set in the past would have been a mistake.
Like Giratina is otherworldly etc. but also I don't think its theme would hit as much without the heart monitor flatline
