I wouldn't personally rate it as a favourite but IMO it wasn't bad. I think 'cus I never really had the Banjo & Kazooie experience I wasn't jaded though which I guess is what happened to a lot of people
To be frank I think it's biggest faults were that everything was a little too big, no I mean literally, and as a result everything kind of felt empty? Like that Casino level where I felt like some micro had walked in and it was this gigantic zone.
It's kind of frustrating that tbh given how people spat vitriol at it I suspect Playtonic might not actually go back and try again with a bit of a tighter design philosophy to it, which I frankly think they'd succeed at.
