Like this has happened somewhere between me going to battle the Elite 4 and while I was on the S.S. Aqua going to Kanto
I know it's a random chance per battle but STILL.
Of course I've had a source pokérus pokémon in each gen since my mum or my sister stumbled on it by accident and I was like "Give that to me :)"
And gen 9/Scarlet & Violet scrapped the mechanic anyway lol

Yep! Not that it matters as much in SV 'cus EV training is a loooooooooooooooooot easier now 'cus since SwSh you can just shove your pokémon full of Vitamins up to the EV cap for that stat in addition to League Points in SV being stupidly easy to get
Plus in SV EVs are gained across the party so you could EV train multiple pokémon at once from one battle that I kind of understand why GF finally dropped it.
