I want to add that gender identity and gender expression are not the same thing. I only started to understand that over a year into my transition, and that's when I really started to find my authentic self.
Trans women don't owe anyone feminity. Non-binary people don't owe anyone androgyny. Trans men don't owe anyone masculinity.
I might identify with the binary, but I don't agree with it.
