So... FLCL's a fun ass anime! One of the most excitingly surreal experiences I've had in awhile, reminding me of the first time I watched Flip Flappers a good 4 years ago. It's surreal, has plenty of symbolism under the hood, and is an animation treat! Though talked about ad nauseum, The Pillows' soundtrack helps make this one stick out even more. Might look into a video essay or two later to help understand things a bit better, but as a spectacle, FLCL is great fun and I'm glad I watched it.
