Randomly thinking about the HBO Spawn series again. Shame that adult animated superhero shows weren't all that popular until Invincible. Spawn TAS is a hell of a time, and it's elevated by Keith David's baller performance as the titular anti-hero. Haven't bothered with the comics as I don't read too many comics, but the animated series is superb and a high recommendation personally. Be you a fan of comics or not, it's an incredibly fascinating piece from around the time Spawn was at his most popular, even if the crummy 1997 film overshadowed it.
