After spending the better half of a month cleaning up crime in Gotham, it feels good to be back in the shoes of the Ashen One. I've got myself a cool new sword, I take things down in a few hits, my vigor needs a boost, but it's been a hell of a time getting back into the swing of things. The Catacombs of Carthus and Smoldering Lake weren't bad areas, either. Though I did have some side quest stuff to clear, a ballista to turn off, and still need to finish the boss of the latter area, overall things have been real damn good.
Wolnir was one of those bosses I thought would be suspiciously easy, until I noticed his healthbar get shredded by those gold rings being broken off. So there's another Heir of Fire down. All that's left is the Old Demon King in his scraggly, claymation villain looking glory, and I'm off to the next location. See y'all next time when I delve past the bonfire of Wolnir's room into whatever awaits me!
