Train to the End of the World's gotta be some of the most fun of the Spring 2024 lineup. A surreal story about girls going through a world warped by a thing known as "7G". Humans have become animals, zombies are afoot, everything is wild and whacky. Train isn't as compelling as FliFla, hence the 'diet' tag, I think some episodes could've had a bit more in them than surrealness for surreal sake, but overall it's a hell of a time and an easy recommendation of the spring 2024 anime lineup. Hope it gets a manga or a light novel, since everything about it was so fun I'd die to have a bit more.

Didn't get around to watching Girls Band Cry, figure I'd wait around. But tossing my hat into the ring for Train to the End of the World? It feels like I'm watching Flip Flappers again. A very vivid, surreal story about a few school girls and their dog navigating a post-apocalyptic Japan to find their lost friend. Between this, Jellyfish, and Kaiju No. 8 so far, I'm not sure what anime will be my fav this season!
