Waited 3 years to play Rift Apart as I couldn't snag one of Sony's latest ray tracing video game machine. Seeing it on sale for $35.99, I got superbly excited and jumped on it! And after 3 years of waiting, it's been worth all the wait. As a lifelong R&C fan, I'm not disappointed at all. Story's been fine, not much of a goer to Ratchet for the story, but gameplay has been tweaked fairly well, and every weapon I've used so far has been extremely satisfying. Playing it with a DualShock 4, I almost wanna buy a DualSense to get the full force of each weapon!

Between Dark Souls 3, Ninja Gaiden Black, and the Arkham Knight side content cleanup, I'm happily throwing Rift Apart as another ball into my video game juggling act.

Has this ever happened to you? You're out on a date, nerding out over your favorite movie and your gal is suddenly kidnapped by a giant robot within the movie? That's what happened to Joe, as he gets sucked into the world of film, given a means to transform and kick some bad guy butt! Having just finished Viewtiful Joe, it's certainly lived up to my expectations of a delightfully stylish, if sometimes too challenging, Kamiya action game.

One of my pals wants me to play it on PCSX2 to unlock a certain devil hunter, but after this playthrough, I've gotta start focusing on Arkham Knight and DS3 again. Ninja Gaiden Black is also in wait, but I'll be back to Movie Land soon.
