"Perfection" is an ideal that implies it is, at least to some degree, unrealistic or unattainable. "Normality" is perfection but taken for granted. Expected. Demanded.

Nothing is normal. Especially, nobody is normal. To quote someone who explained to me that way in the past, "I've never seen a normal person in my life," and I'll admit it took me a long time to understand what that meant.

Normality is - in my opinion - one of, if not the worst social constructs that have ever been created, because the expectation of "normality" is, really, the core of every oppressive social expectation; "normal" behavior, "normal" gender identities, "normal" sexual preferences, "normal" attitudes, the expectation of being a "normal person", you name it.

We can also get into how "normality" can be very easily redefined but the point is the very concept is meant to exclude.

The right to break free from normality is inherent to trans rights. To suppress that is, well, oppression.

And also trans bodies are beautiful.
