So, hypnosis folks (of any variety) and pagans (hypnotic pagans especially), is there some reason why Nyx seems to be heavily associated with hypnosis stuff nowadays (besides just the "mother of hypnos" aspect in some tellings)?
Curious because I'm pagan and Nyx has been a major aspect of my ritual since the early 2000s, but this particular association wasn't something I was aware of until recently. I also don't remember this being the case in the subcultures I encountered on the hypnosis front like a decade-plus ago (I took a break from hypnosis stuff for about 12 years due to life/various traumas).
Anyway, a genuine question and I figure some folks on here might know
