The real problem with NFTs is that the bubble burst before we got a good heist movie out of the concept.
Like, Oceans 14 or however many they're on could've been about infiltrating one of those libertarian tech retreats and tricking everyone into giving then their MetaMask passwords. The next Fast and Furious should've had a a villain monologue in front of a giant screen covered in a shifting tide of monkeys legally distinct from but clearly recognizable as a take on the Bored Apes.
We had a chance at so many camp classics, all gone because the tech industry couldn't keep that grift running for even a full year.
