I'm not saying all video essays have inflated runtimes, but I keep getting reccomended a "lore explained" video for Home Safety Hotline that is nearly five hours long. Home Safety Hotline can be comfortably completed within two and a half hours. I don't know how it would need twice that time to explain what's going on there.
