Sorry but what is it that people hate so much about Concord? I'm not plugged in to that specific gaming space so I had no idea what it was people hated so much about it, and whenever I search it online I just get the same dipshit gamers saying it failed because there was a fat person in it or something. Is it just another bad live service game?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRrWp_MVAxU I found this video to be a really good look at it. It does come down to bad live service game, but mainly due to how the actual squad based stuff goes, and that low player count makes it worse.
On a grander scale Sony/Jim Ryan wanted a big push for big budget western live service games. They bought Bungie to have them approve and oversee a dozen of these samey projects. (Not a future I want, so It sets me up to kinda want it to burn)
Concord itself feels like it's too late and just did whatever was popular when it was greenlit. Guardians of the Galaxy Overwatch.
But overwatch and most hero shooters are free to play nowadays, whereas this isn't.
That's my thoughts on it, I haven't seen anyone who played it walk away particularly positive about the gameplay.

Can't help but marvel (no pun intended) at how many properties looked at GOTG and instead of taking away "goofy irreverent tone contrasted with heartfelt character interactions in a classic space opera setting" took "Immitate James Gunn's exact dialogue style, play 80s music."
