I think that my ideal social media might just be one where every user gets one post per day. Comment as much as you want, but you gotta make sure that the one thing you get to say unprompted is a good one.

Oh, that's part of what I was going for. Likes I can generally take or leave but I think comments and conversations are cool. I think that a social media that heavily limits how much you can post would force people to be mindful about what they want to say.
Yeah, the one big issue I had was that they're like "anybody can follow you, you cannot see this or have any control over it and we want it that way," which just sounds like a vector for harassment/stalking to me
Oof yeah, any social media that doesn't let me block people or go private is a nonstarter for me.
