lockerkid.itch.io/Key lime pie is one of those unfortunate recipes where the closer you get to the quote "authentic" unquote version the less appealing it looks. Without additive food coloring, key lime juice is kinda just an unappealing olive color, and any unfortunate specks of lime zest to make it to the top don't look great. Still tastes delicious, though, just gotta hide it all under a pile of whipped cream before serving.
